HEAR Grant Program for Stevens County

Helping eligible households, small businesses, nonprofits, and adult family homes access rebates for energy-efficient electric equipment and appliances. 

Stevens County Youth Outreach in partnership with Stevens County is proud to participate in the Washington State Department of Commerce "Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates" program, also known as "HEAR".

The HEAR Program provides rebates and incentives to help eligible households and small businesses purchase and install high-efficiency electric equipment and appliances.

Households:

Households with incomes up to 150% of Area Median Income (AMI) may qualify for HEAR assistance.

Income eligibility is based on HUD income limits for Stevens County and will be verified during the application process. 

1. Do you live in Stevens County? 
2. Is your household income at or below 150% of Area Median Income? 
3. Do you own or rent your home? 
4.  Do you currently participate in SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, LIHEAP, or live in income-qualified housing? 
5. Are you interested in installing eligible equipment such as: 
   • Heat Pumps
   • Mini Split
   • Electrical Panel Upgrades 
   • Electrical Wiring Upgrades 

If you answered "Yes," you may qualify and should submit an application.

• Heating & Cooling
  Heat pumps, including ducted, ductless, air-source, and ground-source systems.
• Electrical Upgrades
  Electric panels and wiring upgrades required for installation.

All equipment must meet ENERGY STAR or AHRI certification requirements. 

1. Complete the HEAR interest form. 
2. Our team reviews your eligibility. 
3. We determine which rebates may apply. 
4. Approved applicants are connected with next steps. 
5. Installation and rebate processing are completed.
